EcoCore recognised by the Solar Impulse Foundation as an Efficient Solution
Updated: Jan 15
The Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label was awarded following a strict selection process, performed by external independent experts, covering technological feasibility, environmental as well as socio-economic benefit and profitability.
The internationally recognised label is a credible marker of quality for businesses and governments looking for solutions that will help them to meet their environmental commitments.
Started by aviation and green technology pioneer Bertrand Piccard, the Solar Impulse Foundation aims to identify clean, efficient and profitable solutions to accelerate their implementation and the transition to a sustainable economy.
Talking about the significance of the label Henri Gaskjenn, Bockatech CEO, said; "We're honoured that EcoCore has earned such a well recognised and respected award, it's a tangible sign of the progress that the team has made with the new technology.
"To gain the award the feasibility, economic viability and sustainability of EcoCore were rigorously assessed by a panel of independent experts over three months.
"The assessment confirmed that the technology not only reduces adverse environmental impacts such as greenhouse gasses and litter pollution but also accomplishes this practically and profitably."
By gaining the respected label, EcoCore becomes one of the 1000 solutions that the foundation has selected for their ability to protect the environment in an economically viable way.
